There is much to do in Iron County. From ghost towns to thriving cities there are ready opportunities for rural refreshment or more urban cultural opportunities. William Shakespeare would be delighted with our annual Summer Shakespearean Festival where his and other great works are celebrated. The University brings great cultural and intellectual diversity to our communities. But neither have we strayed too far from our agricultural roots which surround us. Most of our communities still retain their rural flavor and sense of community.
