Located on US 89, Junction is the county seat and the site of the Piute County Fair held every August. A jackpot roping event is held weekly at the fairground arena. The stately Piute County Courthouse, built in 1903 and used until 1997, is listed on the State and National Historical Record. Piute Lake State Park, located three miles northeast of Junction, has some of the best fishing in Utah. All services are available.
